The threat is increasing, the Taliban is not only the problem of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but the entire country, said the Federal Minister of Defense

ISLAMABAD/PESHAWAR: The Defense Minister has said on the issue of Tehreek-e-Taliban that the Imran Khan government had welcomed the TTP, now the situation is deteriorating in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif expressed these views after the situation worsened across the province including Swat. He said that there is tension on both sides of the border which they are trying to resolve.

Khawaja Asif said that Ghulam Khan is a local problem of Pakistan which is being looked into, but the situation is getting worse in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that the Imran Khan government had welcomed Tehreek-e-Taliban, now processions are being taken out against Tehreek-e-Taliban in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Federal Minister of Defense termed the Taliban as the problem of the entire country and said that Parliament has been briefed twice on the issue of Tehreek-e-Taliban, talks are going on with the Taliban but the danger is increasing.
