The United States Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) launched the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program - Pakistan (Global UGRAD-Pakistan) in 2010. Students enrolled in either a four-year or two-year bachelor's degree programme are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Pakistani nationals
• 25 years of age or younger
• Currently enrolled in a college or university and committed to returning to their home universities after the programme is completed.
• Applicants in their 14th or 15th year of formal education must submit current/most recent transcripts as well as old transcripts with their application.

Ineligibility:

• Dual citizens of the United States and Pakistan, as well as permanent residents of the United States
• Those who have a parent or spouse who is a US citizen, permanent US resident, or has a pending US immigration application.

Combined Master/Doctoral Research Teaching Scholarship (CMDRTS)

The CMDRTS scholarship supports international students pursuing both, the Master’s and Doctorate degrees at Khalifa University. Scholarship benefits include:

• Full coverage of tuition fees.
• Medical insurance coverage for students sponsored by Khalifa University (student visa), as per the University’s rules and regulations.
• Support to attend international research conferences, subject to approval.
• Mobilization and demobilization flight assistance for overseas international students.
• Free University accommodation for the student only (or accommodation assistance of AED 2,000 per month only if University accommodation is not available for the eligible student, as per the University’s rules and regulations).
• Monthly stipend:
  • During MSc:        AED 8,000
  • During PhD:        AED 12,000

Students who wish to complete a Master’s degree only should select the MRTS scholarship when applying for graduate studies at Khalifa University.

Doctoral Research Teaching Scholarship (DRTS)

The DRTS scholarship supports international students pursuing a Doctorate degree at Khalifa University. Scholarship benefits include:

1. Full coverage of tuition fees.
2. Medical insurance coverage for students sponsored by Khalifa University (student visa), as per the University’s rules and regulations.
3. Support to attend international research conferences, subject to approval.
4. Mobilization and demobilization flight assistance for overseas international students.
5. Free University accommodation for the student only (or accommodation assistance of AED 2,000 per month only if University accommodation is not available for the eligible student, as per the University’s rules and regulations).
6. Monthly stipend of AED 12,000.

NUMS Entry Test shall be held on Sunday, 9th October 2022. Subject test is mandatory for admission in NUMS Constituent, Affiliated and all Military (Armed Forces) Administered Medical and Dental Colleges.

Eligibility/Qualification:

1. The candidates having valid citizenship of Pakistan /Overseas Pakistanis/Dual Nationals/Foreign Nationals can appear in NUMS Entry Test 2022.
2. FSc/HSSC/A-Levels/ 12th Grade, awaiting result can also apply for NUMS Entry Test 2022.
3. NUMS Entry Test held on 3rd October 2021 is not valid for admission in MBBS/BDS session 2022-23.
4. Passing PMC MDCAT with 65% marks shall be mandatory for admission in MBBS and with 55% marks for BDS in NUMS colleges as per PMC Public Announcement dated 16th May 2022.

How to Apply

• Registration Form for NUMS Entry Test 2022 shall be filled online.
• Please apply using a laptop or desktop only. Registration by using mobile phone is not supported.

Steps for NUMS Entry Test 2022 Registration:

• Click on the First Time Registration
  • Local Students will select CNIC/Form B Option 
  • Overseas Pakistani or Dual Nationals will select NICOP Option
  • Foreigners will select Passport Option

1. Enter your own (Student) CNIC/Form B/NICOP/Passport Number at the time of registration/login, because it cannot be changed later on.
2. Enter your full name (as per SSC/O level / 10th Grade Certificate).
3. Enter your active/functional email address.
4. Enter Password (minimum 6 character)
5. Confirm Password
6. Enter captcha
7. Click on Register

• After registration, login NUMS Entry Test 2022 Registration Portal.
• Online Registration application is divided into 4 Steps:
  • Step 1 Upload Photograph & CNIC/B Form/NICOP/Passport
    • Upload the Passport size latest photograph with blue background. (Unprofessional photographs/Selfie not allowed).
    • Upload Clear front side of CNIC/B Form/NICOP/Passport

Note: The candidates MUST select two unique locations in order of preference for appearance in the NUMS Entry Test 2022. However, based upon seating capacity available, the University reserves the right to shift any candidate to another location.

  • Download Fee Challan: Print challan, pay it to nearest HBL bank
  • Upload NUMS Copy of Paid Fee Challan
• Step 4 Final Submit Application

Note: After submission you will not receive any email and SMS. The above mentioned statement is the confirmation of your application submission.

After submission, you can also edit your application information before the last date of registration by login with same CNIC/B Form/NICOP/Passport Number.

• Application shall be submitted through online portal only. No hard copies are required.
• The Mobile Number and Email provided on the Registration Form should be entered correctly and it should be functional for contact as and when required by the University.

KGSP (Korean Government Scholarship Program)

It is a fully funded scholarship by the Korean government (tuition fee is 100% free + monthly stipend) Duration: it started from February to April every year, but the deadline is varying from university to university. you can directly apply to some specific university after securing the scholarship you can choose a professor from the related department. if you contact to the professor before applying, it’s also a better option. But for KGSP, you just have to learn the Korean language for one year then after that, you can continue your study related to your major.

Professor scholarship

For a professor Scholarship firstly, you have to find the universities that offer your program then you have to shortlist professors related to your research interest. Make an effective CV and write a brief email showing your interest and passion to the professor. if the professor agrees then the chances of your securing a scholarship are increased.

University and departmental scholarships:

They are not offered by all universities and it varies from university to university.

General Information:

• There are two intakes in Korea, 1st is September and 2nd in March intake For September intake

Application period is usually started from February to April (vary university to university) for March intake application period is from September to October.

• KGSP and professor scholarships are more common.
• Their most programs are MS leading to PHD.
• Previous Degree Completion is required to apply.
• IELTS is not compulsory because some universities may accept English proficiency certificates.

The Pakistan Special Police Establishment (PSPE) department was given authority to look into cases involving the offenses of bribery and corruption against central government employees. The creation of a Federal Police Organization was recommended in the "Police Reform" report that was presented to the cabinet on April 7, 1972. This organization would deal with crimes involving smuggling, drugs, currency, immigration, and passports that had an impact across provincial lines.
